Earlier this month, our second cohort of Skills for Industry (SFI) students graduated from their intensive four-week programme. Designed in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Development, this programme equips participants with essential skills to secure full-time employment. The curriculum covers a range of practical topics, including resume writing, interview techniques, workplace communication and technical skills, and job search strategies.
On this occasion, tutor Ian France highlighted Alison Poulter’s presentation on networking and personal marketing, which was particularly impactful for the students. Alison, from Kenesis BNI, provided invaluable insights into building professional relationships and effectively marketing oneself in today's competitive job market.
Congratulations to all our graduates on completing the programme and taking significant steps towards their future careers. We look forward to seeing their continued success in the workforce.
