Duration: Two years full-time study, which totals 240 NZQA credits at level 6.

International Tuition Fee: NZ$21,000/year (2 semesters)

Requirements

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS:

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, followed by an online interview. Alternatively, successful completion of one year of tertiary study in architecture, business, construction, or quantity surveying, along with one year of industry work experience, is preferred.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:

IELTS: Overall band of 6.0 with no individual band less than 5.5
PTE: 50 Overall score – with no band score lower than 42
TOEFL IBT: Overall score of 60 (with at least 18 in writing)

 

ABOUT THE COURSE

This two-year program prepares you for a career in construction. You'll learn essential skills through hands-on experiences and expert guidance, including a work placement in Year Two. You can also join the New Zealand Institute of Building to expand your professional network.

Designed for those aiming to become assistant construction managers, this program provides theoretical knowledge and practical skills for all stages of construction management. With mentorship from experienced professionals, you'll develop the abilities needed for successful project management.

After graduation, you'll qualify for a two-year post-study work visa, and our programs are on the government's Green List for occupational skills shortages(as of May 2024). Plus, there's a pathway option to pursue a NZ bachelor's degree in construction management through our partner institutions.
